Clever Compose AI - Fast Start Guide

Following these steps will have you using your AI in 10-30 minutes, depending on how many items you add to your Knowledge Library. I suggest adding <10 initially and going back later. Let's go!

1. Populate your Knowledge Library

  • Go to app.tourconnect.com and login with the account credentials you've just created.

  • Then, populate your Knowledge Library to train your AI. Add links to your webpages, pricing and refund documents. Be sure to include instructions within any spreadsheets to help the AI understand how to read any tricky files.

  • Note: We recommend only adding a handful of documents and links initially, then continuing to step two. You may get carried away and want to add lots of documents right away. If that's the case, this library setup guide may be useful.

2. Download the TourConnect AI Add-In

  • If you use Outlook - Download the Add-in from the Microsoft Store.

  • If you Gmail or any other web based email system - Download the Add-in from the Chrome Web Store

  • Note: if needed, more detail on this step here

3. Start using your AI for Customer Emails

  • From your inbox, open on any relevant customer email as you normally would.

  • Clever Compose AI will open in the right hand sidebar, ready for you to click 'Generate'. The first 2-3 responses typically take longer than usual.

  • Once the response is generated, scroll down to Copy it into an email reply.

  • To try again with a different length, language or brand tone, make adjustments in the 'Response Options' menu, then click 'Generate'.

  • Note for Outlook users: click the pin above the Add-In menu to lock the side-bar in place.
