While Itinerary Assist AI is very good at reading itineraries, quotes, bookings, and requests really well, it sometimes needs a little help.
If Itinerary Assist AI isn't extracting properly, you can create rules to teach Itinerary Assist AI what you need extracted, or how you would like data to be extracted. You will need to setup rules if data is not being extracted, or if Itinerary Assist AI is not interpreting the information correctly.
In order to do train Itinerary Assist AI, you will need to update the extraction settings (or extraction rules) for that specific agent. Here's how:
Open up the configuration settings for an Agent.
Click on Extraction Settings.
Update the settings for the agent.
Don't forget to hit "Save" at the top of the page when done!
You can update the Itinerary Header information (like itinerary name, pax list, etc.)
You can also update the Service Line information (like pickup and drop off, room config, etc.)
You can copy rules to another Agent/partner...just be careful, as it copies ALL rules to the other Agent...if you've edited that agent's rules previously, they will be overwritten.
NOTE: We recommend trying to add the rule in the specific field, if possible; otherwise, you can simply put the rules in the Overall Extraction Instructions.
Once you've added extraction instructions, you need to test the changes. Simply follow the instructions from Step 2 above to test the extraction again, and check the results!
